The busy season isn’t over yet!

As soon as we got back from Romania we took a week to hibernate before training camp (for Laura) and two 4 day traveling periods (for Corey) would happen. Along with our normal work, trying to rest up from traveling and spending time reconnecting with friends, we haven’t had time to update most of you about our recent travels. If you have Facebook and are a friend of Laura or I please go on there and search our pictures, I know that I have a few photo albums on my fb site that are of us in Greece and Romania.

Right now I am in Harlan Kentucky project leading two groups of adults, one from Chicago and one from Janesville Wisconsin. We have had the “Go Packers”, “Go bears” teasing but all in good fun. These two groups, along with two individuals who came separate, are becoming one body very nicely. We have been busy doing a lot of painting at a local church and visiting seniors and disabled persons at a adult day care center. There are many stories I want to share with you but my battery is running low, I’ll try to get some pictures up as well.
Please pray that the rain stops, its been non-stop since wednesday. Ask the Father to continue to open our eyes to what He is doing in His people of Harlan, an area that is pretty depressed, not unlike most small coal mining towns of the Appalachians.
Peace

  1. I believe that the title should be ‘There is no end to the busy season.’ Because there really isn’t an end around here, it just keeps going! And I don’t know if I would really consider any of us truly getting a break in between since you guys helped friends move, got a new database up and running, and we had the 20th Anniversary for AIM. You guys are rock stars 🙂

  2. Casey I your right but I didn’t want to beg for sympathy…and it’s easier to push through when you have great friends to work alongside, even when they don’t drive the bus when they should.
